We are very proud of the merger of the R.L. Hayes & Associates, Ltd. Agency with the Howard A. Esser Agency, for innovation can be a hindrance if not implemented effectively. To accommodate the integration of the two agencies, we re-branded our firm's identity, moved one agency from our east Naperville location into our west Naperville location, upgraded our agency data management system and replaced over 40 desktop computers and 4 servers. All of these tasks were handled systematically, smoothly, and without incident to our clients.
Esser Hayes also upgraded our main phone system, moving to a digital platform with unified desktop messaging; all e-mails, voicemails and faxes are now delivered directly to our desktops for quick processing and turnaround.
In the increasing push to be paperless, Esser Hayes has installed a document management software system which now scans all documents, allowing our paper files to become a way of the past. This allows us to pull up documents instantly and we can now counsel our clients on any coverage, billing or claims issue within seconds.
In the complex and competitive landscape of the local insurance agent marketplace, we have implemented these initiatives to sustain our success well into the future.
